Good day to you family, thank you for stopping by I pray you are blessed by this read.
If you walk through the front door of your home it gives you access to other doors in the house, right? I know this is a simple thought. Each room has a particular access point or door. The bathroom has a door, the master bedroom, the closet and even the pantry. So, my question to you is if you are trying to get to the kitchen pantry why are you trying to walk through the bathroom? That is clearly not the way to the kitchen pantry. I mean if you are looking for an answer to a Math problem you don’t look for it in an English book? Or are you? Have you ever thought that this is the reason you have no idea what your purpose is or where you are? Well allow me to share with you that you don’t have to remain lost, walking through unnecessary doors or even opening doors to strangers, and/or uninvited guests. Quick side note: I didn’t know I would be telling alot of my own story when this blog was started. Transparency can be testimonial!
I have dealt with different hinderances as you can see from the previous messages, but one of the hinderances was how I viewed myself. Which has had a lot to do with the decisions I was making for my life (doors I was walking through) that had nothing to do with my purpose. Something God showed me is that those decisions and how I dealt with myself for making those decisions in life caused me to let down my guard and the role switched to who I was letting in my doors. Because I didn’t forgive myself for the bad decisions and choices, I made I opened the door to the enemy and he began to come in and knock over somethings in my room and in my house. Disrupting the atmosphere and at some point, I began to think and respond as if this is was normal. I allowed myself to be desensitized and that was not where I wanted or needed to be. So, the Lord took me back to the time when I had allowed the enemy in through one of the doors or windows because of unforgiveness. I noticed that a lot of these situations are connected to each other. As if the enemy came in and helped himself to the refrigerator and the microwave fixed him a plate, sat down and ate. Then when he was done eating, he found the first empty bed and crashed. Like a roommate he made himself comfortable, but here’s the thing he doesn’t wash the dishes he uses, he doesn’t clean up after himself, he doesn’t contribute to the bills, doesn’t help buy food, doesn’t take out the trash let alone use the trash can, sadly doesn’t even shower. Wait a minute!!!!!!!!!!! There comes a point when you ask yourself when is enough really enough. All of this because I didn’t forgive myself? Yes, it destroys you from the inside out. So, in me that unforgiveness was a breeding ground for dysfunction and bad decisions and not being able to receive of the Lord in my life He was calling and I was rebelling.
My point is who or what are you opening the door to, because of unbelief or other hinderances? Most of us aren’t allowing a stranger to enter our home especially an uninvited one. Some strangers we allow into our home on official business but we are or at least we should be on guard. If this is the case then we should do this for our spirit as well. The things we deal with on a daily basis may be foreign or a stranger maybe even a familiar stranger (a hinderance that we have accepted) to us for example: doubt, unbelief, rejection there are plenty more but let’s go a little deeper how about in the way you think. The enemy is comfortable that should make you uncomfortable! It’s not the moment to fall victim to the atmosphere of that which hinders you. You already dropped into unforgiveness, don’t let them (hinderances) build up. Read Matthew 8:28-34. Truth is we let the enemy in when we allow ourselves to fall into these hinderances or sin whatever you see them as. Then he invites more of his workers to join him. Not acceptable!
While opening my doors to the enemy I began walking through unnecessary doors trying to find my purpose the blind leading the blind! Only to realize I made a bad decision and I attacked myself and the deeper into the pit I go. The more hands holding me or leading me deeper into the darkness. No this not where I want to be!!!!! Not where you want to be!!! You don’t want to be in the darkness!!!!
I had to realize and recognize who I am with Christ. The Lord shared with me 2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new. Then the Lord’s Prayer Matthew 6:9-13. We get so caught up in forgiving others we don’t forgive ourselves. Now you have to immediately evict the enemy. Don’t serve him a notice because that just means you are giving him time to leave. No there’s no time for that you gotta go NOW! There is no room for a 30-day notice or whatever. Open the curtains and the blinds and let the Light in. Now refocus get back to or start heading towards your purpose. Jesus is the way to those doors of your purpose stay on track and don’t allow yourself to lose your focus again. Watch who or what you open your doors to, protect your spirit!
