Focus

Good day to you all I pray you are blessed, remaining safe and continuing to seek God in all that you do. Thank you for joining me today for another edition of keys2unlock. I pray you are blessed by this journey. Let’s go!

We have all heard or been encouraged when attempting to accomplish a goal to stay focused. Well obviously, remaining focused is not always a comment or command about you literally having blurred vision. Our life and walk can be blurred at times and cause us to lose focus on our purpose, vision, goal, dream, and our call. So, I cannot explain the entire story with you all because this blog would be terribly lengthy, so let’s just say I stepped off the road and sat on the curb for a while. Everything ahead of me that was in focus became completely out of focus. Have you ever just pulled over to the side of the road because the rain was coming down so hard that even with your wipers moving at highspeed to clear the windshield you still could not, see? That was me, I allowed myself to become so overwhelmed with all of the things going on around me and my own thoughts as well I pulled over to the side of the road under an over pass to wait for the rain to settle. Well let’s just say that didn’t happen it just kept raining and I became discouraged that I wasn’t going to get back on the road. People I knew were passing by and honked their horns some even stopped and sat with me for a while to encourage me to keep pushing. I did not take a different route nor did I try and take a different path I just sat there under the over pass. The Lord sent those people to get me moving again and I would get up but I was moving slow because I was still out of focus.

Then one night the Lord spoke through my wife and He began to tell me how much He loved me and that I needed to just trust Him. That I am not done that I need to move because I had things to do for Him. That my wife and I have things to do for Him. Then He reminded me of a message and told me that I need to say what He told me to say. Or be like the pillar of salt and die. Well let’s just say that over pass is no longer in my rearview mirror. My wipers are still moving at a high rate of speed and swiping clearing the windshield, with each swipe that quick moment of a clean windshield I can see the Son, leading me to the next spot to pick up that person that was like me sitting under the over pass to encourage them to keep moving. Don’t rely solely on your vision to be focused the Lord wants us to trust in Him and He will lead us and direct our path. When we trust Him, He will clear our vision He will ensure we have what we need to continue on our journey. This scripture is a great read and, in my hopes, will encourage and inspire you as it has me. Please give it a read, now once you read it in your favorite version go back and read it in the MSG version (if that wasn’t already your favorite version) Philippians 3:12-21  https://my.bible.com/bible/97/PHP.3.msg

I pray that you have been blessed by this and we shall continue to push and be focused on what we have been instructed to do. I pray you have a great day filled with God’s love, joy, peace, favor, anointing and Holy Spirit. I love you Thanks for stopping by! God Bless!
