Pickpocket, Stop Thief

Good day family and friends well I have something I would like to share. I pray that you are all doing your best to remain steadfast and please continue to pray for this world! Thank you for joining me for another edition of keys2unlock. I pray are blessed by this message and maybe know of someone who would enjoy this read. If that is the case please share it with them. Well let’s jump right in.

            Let’s talk briefly about pickpocketing, I know that this may seem like an old practice and you don’t hear about it as much as when I was younger. But if you really think about it pickpocketing is still done today. So, to pickpocket is to basically steal from a person’s pockets. Well I say its when you are distracted enough by whatever may be going on around you or the environment and someone steals something off of your person. They get close enough to you that you don’t even realize it until you notice your valuables are gone usually because you went to pay of something or maybe a passer-by saw what happened and told you. This in a lot of ways happens to us in a similar manner digitally. Skimming is a way people are pickpocketing you without even touching you. You are essentially distracted by the fact that you are comfortable swiping your card thinking you are good. Well if there is a skimmer present your credit card info has just been compromised.

            I believe that I have had this to happen to me, over the past few months with all that has been going on the election, the pandemic, family, and even my own personnel hang ups and issues, I felt as though I had nothing to write about. Like the Lord wasn’t showing me or sharing with me anything that was worthy of sharing that could help someone else. I felt like I lost something so I began looking for it. Then I would catch little things and then boom it was gone. I’m like what is really going on? I can’t remember the exact circumstances behind the thought of being pickpocketed I just remember writing it down. I even asked myself if the enemy keeps picking my pocket. Then I thought if he is then I must be allowing it! There is a lot to unpack with the thoughts that I have about me and the things I have done in my life and what I could have done and should have done. Thinking about it now I feel like the enemy took something and replaced it with a look alike, some thing that felt similar, and I was fooled by it. Now it’s one thing to take something from someone’s pocket but to replace what was taken with something to deceive you into thinking you still have it. Wow!!! This needs to be fixed! In a moment of prayer one early morning my wife began to pray for me. I take this as a normal thing but then the prayer shifted. I know most of those that follow and know me know the shift I am talking about when my wife prays. Out of my wife’s mouth the Lord began to speak. God has this thing with me of reminding me about a dream I had which I shared in a previous blog concerning the key that He gave to me. Now I won’t go into detail all that was said to me but let’s just say the Lord chastised me and set me straight on some ways that I was thinking and responding (a product of the pickpocket exchange) and began to speak directly to what He has for me to do. Now He did not reveal all or even most but basically, I need to turn, pick up and do! I’ll summarize it like that. So this is an encouragement to anyone who has been pickpocketed and then deceived, open your eyes and see that thing is a shame. That thing you feel like the enemy took was just a physical representation of what you have. Notice I said “have” and not “had”. You still have it in your heart. It has not been taken turn to God, pick it up and do what He is instructing you to do! You have it He (God) hasn’t removed it from you! Reignite the gift He has placed inside you. Go back to the source, that’s the only way it can be restored/reignited. Some of us are physically chasing or attacking a spiritual thing!

            These are my thoughts and things that I experience, in the raw. I pray it encourages you to experience God more.
